Competition Rules

 

These rules for our Convention are being done to make sure our judges can cope with the volume of work to be entered.

 

Rule One: You can only enter a tattoo into one category.

Rule Two: You can not enter the same tattoo in more than one category.

Rule Three: You can however enter more than one tattoo in any other categories.

Rule Four: The judges decision is FINAL.

Rule Five: THE ARTIST THAT DID THE TATTOO MUST BE WORKING AT THE SHOW.

Rule Six: THE ABOVE RULE IS FINAL. This is because it is unfair for someone to win and not even attend the show.

Rule Seven: Best of Day MUST be STARTED AND FINISHED at the show totally.

Rule Eight: ANY TATTOO THAT IS PUT IN BEST OF DAY AND IS FOUND TO BE STARTED BEFORE THE SHOW WILL BE ELIMINATED (e.g. outline done prior to the convention).

Rule Nine: Black and Grey means just that. No Colour (white highlights accepted).

Rule Ten: There is no formal category for best of convention. The winner of each category will be put in this category then the winner will be picked from this.

All our awards will be hand carved by an experienced chainsaw carver. His work can be seen all over Northants as he was born in Kettering and has practised his trade here in Northamptonshire for many a year.
